When we were experimenting with the camera and different shots on Friday, I started filming our shadows and I filmed a shadow of a lamppost, which looked really effective when we watched it on the computer. I think we could use it in our film, maybe as an opening and if not as the opening, we could include it somewhere in the film or even a shadow of a person.

That lamppost looks brilliant Emily - where is that from? Looks really old and scary and eerie..
Think you're right, no matter where in your film, it has to appear somewhere!!
Am leaning towards the very opening shot of your film.. a quick shot then fades out - remember, with a subject like yours, it's all going to be in the implying of things, not actual gore and blood.
Great shot though - well done!
Thank you and I just found it under lamppost on google images it was quite hard to find a good one though and yes it really does have to appear somewhere I think it will work well.
